0.1.5 - Bug report and Input management


I’m very pleased to announce this new release. It includes a brand new bug report which will help me debug problems found by players. Feel free to join the discord https://discord.gg/TStd6p9X

New features

  • Add an introduction screen
  • Add new enemy: bat in cave
  • Add DebugConfig resource to manage game settings and activate/deactivate features for development
  • Add BugReport available in release mode (sends a screenshot, log file, and informations to AlixRPG Discord server)
  • Add the number of day since Alix is missing in HUD
  • Add dust behind player for external scenes
  • Add InputSprite and InputManager based on InputHelper from @nathan hoad to display buttons according to the joypad connected
  • Exports are now fullscreen by default for all platforms

Changed features

  • SoundComponent datas reworked for enemies, they are now embedded inside enemy definition
  • Reworked Debug and Shell input key management
  • Skeleton music area now takes the whole screen
  • StoneSword dialogs now displays different sentences to urge the player to keep on trying to get the sword
  • Fix a bug when changing scene: godot removes objects when freeing the whole scene, leading to falsely firing some “_on_body_exited” methods
  • Level design
  • Translations FR/EN

System and dependencies changes

  • Migrate to Godot 4.4-dev5 (dev6 exports crash)
  • PhantomCamera update
